Shedeur Sanders Gets Prank Call During NFL Draft From Falcons’ Defensive Coordinator’s Son, NFL Investigating | 2025 NFL Draft, Football, Shedeur Sanders, Sports | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Shedeur Sanders received a prank call during the 2025 NFL Draft, and the incident is currently under investigation by the football organization.

The 23-year-old quarterback was projected to be a first round pick in the draft, but was unfortunately dropped to No 144, before being drafted to the Cleveland Browns.

However, during day two of the NFL draft, a video went viral on social media depicting Sanders receiving a call on the phone that was specifically being used to find out his draft pick.

The Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator’s son, Jax Ulbrich, 21, was part of a prank call that told Shedeur he was being drafted by the New Orleans Saints, a prank call that has been viewed as very cruel by fans and media alike.

“It’s been a long wait, man,” the prank caller said in the video, impersonating Saints’ GM Mickey Loomis. “We’re going to take you with our next pick, man, but you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer, man. Sorry about that.”

When the prank call happened, Shedeur said to his family that only NFL personnel had his number, which tipped off fans that it was someone within the organization. The call was videoed by the prankers friend, as well as live streamed from Shedeur’s draft party, so everyone saw both sides of the call from both perspectives.

Since then, the Atlanta Falcons have released a statement in regards to the incident, and the NFL is investigating how his number got leaked. Jax Ulbrich, the one who made the prank call, also released a statement, and you can read both statements read below.
