One man is sharing a unique trick he uses to make his bed — and it’s going viral.

In a TikTok video that’s racked up more than 6.8 million views, Conor O’Brien explains how he starts making his bed before he even gets out of it.

“This is something that I do that I’ve never seen done before and I want to share with you,” he begins the video.

O’Brien then films himself lying in bed, demonstrating how he makes it from the inside. He says, “So let’s pretend that I’m asleep and I just woke up for a brand new day. What I’ll do is set this pillow here, I’ll set this pillow here, then I’ve got another one, that goes there. And what I’ll do is I’ll start to make it and I’ll tuck it in.”

After the bed is fully made, he explains how he shimmies his way out.

“The first time my feet touch the ground, my bed’s already made,” he adds.

Since posting the video, more than 14,000 people have commented to share their thoughts on the hack — and not everyone is convinced it’s the best way to start the day.

“You gotta air out your bed or you’ll get bed mites 😬 they love heat and moisture,” one user warns.

“I never understood why anyone would have to ‘make the bed.’ It’s my bed, it’s supposed to be my casual and chill place,” another person writes. “Moreover, tidying your bed traps dust mites so that ain’t super healthy…”

Someone else adds, “PLS DONT DO THIS 😩 Leaving your bed unmade in the morning offers several potential benefits, primarily related to hygiene and reducing dust mites, which can trigger allergies!!!”

However, while some people aren’t fans of the hack, others share how they’ll be adopting it into their own routines.

“thank you for sharing this, Conor,” one account responds.

“shimmying out of bed and into the day ✨,” Walmart chimes in.

“This is honestly so wholesome,” someone else says.
