Get ready for more Deadpool!
Ryan Reynolds is reportedly working on ideas to make a new Deadpool movie with X-Men characters involved, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The ensemble film will keep Deadpool as “a supporting player” on the sidelines and “allow for the X-Men characters to be used in unexpected ways.” The hope is to feature three to four X-Men characters in the movie.
Deadpool & Wolverine, which is now the top-grossing rated R movie of all time, brought back Channing Tatum as Gambit and now he’s part of the MCU with a role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
Ryan is said to be focused on writing in 2025 and he’s also working on the script for the Paramount movie Boy Band, in which he’d play an aging member of a boy band.
“I’m more passionate about storytelling than I am about acting,” Ryan told THR last year. “If I win, great. If I lose, I get to also feel like I was the architect of my own demise.”
