  • The music mogul pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution
  • Combs’ ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura is testifying against him

After being at  Sean “Diddy” Combs’ side for 11 years, in August 2018, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura was ready to move on.

The singer met the rap mogul for dinner in Malibu, Calif., for what she thought was a “closure conversation,” she testified on Wed., May 14.

Instead, she told the jury, when Combs drove her back to her apartment afterward, he raped her. “I just remember crying and saying ‘no,’ but it was very fast,” she said.

Ventura spent the last two days testifying in her ex-boyfriend’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, alleging that during her time with Combs, he abused her and forced her to perform sex acts with male escorts.

On the night of the alleged 2018 rape, Ventura said Combs was “nice” and “playful” and somewhat romantic during their dinner, offering to drive her home.

“I went inside, he came in and raped me on the living room floor,” she said.

During the attack, she alleged, “His eyes were black, he wasn’t himself, it was like somebody taking something from you.”

Ventura had just started seeing Alex Fine, who she went on to marry, she told the jury. She is now eight months pregnant with their third child.

During her testimony, she admitted that after the alleged rape, she was consensually intimate with Combs one more time.

After that, she said the relationship officially ended.

They didn’t see much of each other or contact each other until March 2019, when Combs allegedly sent her a chilling message referring to “iPads full of skeletons,” she testified.

She took that to mean the videos of the Freak Offs he had previously recorded, she said in court.

Arrested in September 2024, Combs has pleaded not guilty to counts of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs could face life in prison if he is convicted on all counts. Since his arrest, he has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Complex in Brooklyn and was denied bail three times.
