Kim Kardashian is celebrating a major milestone!
On Wednesday (May 21), the 44-year-old reality star graduated from her law school program in what appeared to be a backyard ceremony.
Kim, her friends, and her family all took to Instagram to share photos and videos from the ceremony, during which Kim‘s mentor Van Jones spoke at to congratulate Kim on her achievements.

“It’s an absolute honor to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we’ve ever seen,” Jessica Jackson, one of the attorneys sponsoring Kim’s education said on stage. “Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case log books to read.”
“Over the course of this program, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years,” Jessica continued. “That’s a total of 5,184 hours of legal study, that’s time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.”
After the ceremony, Kim shared sweet photos of her three youngest kids Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, dressed up in suits, honoring her late dad Robert Kardashian Sr, who was a lawyer.
Kim also showed off the placemats at the celebration that were made out of her law school notes.
If you were unaware, Kim started the four-year Law Office Study Program in 2018, but the program took her six years to complete due to her other work and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kim has come a long way in her legal studies. She failed the baby bar three times before finally passing in 2021 on her fourth try. While she’s one step closer to becoming a licensed lawyer, Kim still needs to take the California Bar Exam in order to legally practice law.
In an interview from November 2023, Kim opened up about her law career aspirations and revealed if her sisters would hire her as a lawyer.
