During the 2025 NFL draft, Alabama saw a total of seven players hear their names called from Thursday to Sunday.
However, just how many players were selected across the seven rounds who at one point suited up for the Crimson Tide, but went on to transfer from Alabama to conclude their collegiate careers elsewhere?
Well, that answer is only one, as former Alabama cornerback Trey Amos was selected with the No. 61 overall pick in the second round by the Washington Commanders.
After only one season at Alabama in 2023, Amos entered the transfer portal last offseason where he transferred to Ole Miss for his final year of college football. Amos went on to play a prominent role for the Rebels at cornerback, amassing a career-high 50 tackles, four TFL, and three interceptions.
In addition to Amos, a few other notable former Alabama transfers such as wide receivers Isaiah Bond, Ja’Corey Brooks, and Traeshon Holden, as well as center Seth McLaughlin, were also available in the 2025 NFL draft, but however went undrafted.
